Butterfly Walk on Mill Hill

Butterfly Walk on Mill Hill, north of Old Shoreham
Meet at the southern car park TQ 212 067 (layby just north of the bridge) at 10:00 am.
Leader: Andy Horton
All genuine enthusiasts welcome.
Suitable for all ages including children. Bring digital cameras, magnifying glasses and binoculars (all optional).
The focus of the walk will be on butterflies and herbs.
Target Butterfly species: Adonis Blue, Grizzled Skipper, Dingy Skipper, Wall Brown, Small Heath plus others.
Duration:
1 to 1½ hours depending on the enthusiasm and fitness of the participants. There is a gentle gradient on the shorter transect, but the optional second part requires a steeper climb.
