FARMER'S MARKET
13 November 2004 Morning
FARMER'S MARKET
East Street, Shoreham-by-Sea
Recommended for game (rabbit, pigeons, venison) and you might find something else. Veggies are sometimes OK and there are pies and cheeses and breads and pickles if they are in your price range for value for money.
From the west park on Shoreham beach at the south end of the footbridge and walk across the bridge to the market. From the east, parking is naff whatever. Ten minutes due south of Shoreham railway station.

I bought some game, mixed diced as the rabbit had sold out, got some veggies (Jersulaem Artichokes), some rye bread (nothing special about this), a tomatillo (I had never eaten one before), had a look in the secondhand shops, and bought a few secondhand books. Nearly bought some goat's meat (which will not be available next month) and I tasted the goat's cheese which was good and would be OK for a Christmas luxury.
The next farmer's market in December is all day and is recommended as a day out, just about.
